The main traditional tourist attractions on the peninsula are the ruins of Dunboy Castle, Puxley Mansion, the Copper Mines Museum in Allihies, the port of Castletownbere and Garnish Island by Glengarriff. Glengarriff to the town of Blarney is approximately 90KM (56 miles). Blarney has the amazing Blarney Castle home to the infamous Blarney Stone…giving people the gift of the gab for generations. Cork City is only 10KM (6 miles) from Blarney and Cork has some wonderful city shopping and sights of its own. So relax in the many cafes or parks the city has to offer or discover the amazing architecture that has stood the test of time for centuries right in the city center

The Cliffs of Moher and The Burren – Full day

CC_8_Cliffs of Moher_picThe cliffs are one of the most popular tourist destinations in Ireland and topped the list of attractions in 2006 by drawing almost one million visitors. Since 2011, they have formed a part of the Burren and Cliffs of Moher Geopark, one of a family of geotourism destinations throughout Europe that are members of the European Geoparks Network.
The Burren is a karst landscape in County Clare, Ireland. It measures approximately 250 square kilometres and is enclosed roughly within the circle made by the villages of Ballyvaughan, Kinvara, Tubber, Corofin, Kilfenora and Lisdoonvarna. The Burren National Park is one of six National Parks in Ireland and the smallest in size (15 km2). The Burren National Park Visitor Centre is located on Church Street in Corofin, County Clare, Ireland. I must see for any visitor either local or foreign.

As always we endeavour to create a custom trip which will enhance your experience no matter which journey we take you on.
